The sky shone with the morning sun,

that was the first time i saw her face.

Instantly i knew she was the one.

and there was no turning back, nothing could be done.

She brightened up my day, but now it's all a haze.

The sun at its highest peak, 

and she meant the world to me. 

She saw saw through my flaws, her friendship i had to seek.

No one could ever tear us apart, our bond was never weak. 

She was more than just a girl, she was the other half of me. 

The day was beginning to end,

the piercing autumn air beginning to set in.

Once again nothing to be done, took time to comprehend.

That this was only the beginning of the end.

My heart started to shrivel, like water soaked skin.

Time passed, I had to accept she was not coming back.

my lonely days began, each time i saw her, my heart would break.

During the cold winter nights, I'd sit and reminisce in my little old shack.

people change, things change, now im lonelier than a wolf without its pack.

I'm just waiting for the day my heart stops this ache.
